Instant site set-up

Setting up your new site takes only a few minutes. You can click here to go to the site set-up form, which includes detailed instructions, or read on for more information.

You will be asked to enter the following information:

• The name of your practice as you want it to appear on your web-page headers
• Your practice National Code
• Your PCT (selected from a drop-down menu)
• Your LMC discount buying group (this will be in a dropdown menu if a discount has been negotiated)
• Details of the main contact person for for your site
• Three suggested domain names (web addresses) in order of preference
• A heading for your home page (you will be able to edit this using the Site Management System)
• Some draft text for your site home page (again, you will be able to edit this)
• Any notes or comments you wish to add, such as the fact that you want to transfer a domain name and/or content from an existing site

As soon as you click the Create site button, your site will be set up automatically and you will see a page with:

• a temporary link to your home page
• a link to the Site Management System (SMS)
• your SMS login ID
• your SMS password
• detailed instructions on how to finish setting up

We recommend that you print this page straight away.

You will also receive an email confirming this information.

Your 6-week no-obligation trial

We then register the first available domain name from the list you gave on your form. As soon as this is live - invariably in less than 24 hours - we email your set-up invoice for £200, less any discount negotiated with your LMC buying group. Like all our invoices, this is a plain text email, but it contains a link you can click to see and print a fully formatted version.

If you do not pay this within 30 days we send you a reminder, and if the balance remains unpaid after a further 14 days we simply disconnect your site. You can get your site re-connected at any time in the next six months simply by paying the outstanding balance. But if you decide thatSites4Doctors is not for you, you can simply forget it. We will not chase you for payment - and we will even arrange to transfer your domain name to a new site, if you wish, for just £25.

This is how our simple no-obligation trial works, allowing you to experiment with a fully-operational practice website for up to six-weeks and then abandon it without spending a penny.

These terms apply throughout your time with Sites4Doctors. If you decide not to continue with us at any time, then provided you notify us before your site is disconnected we will reduce the domain-name transfer charge to £15 and tell you how to transfer the content of your site to a new provider.
